I hate the formality of writing an introductory part for every article you read on the internet especially this one on TIME… So without wasting any more TIME, here are my Top 3 Time Management Tips, that will 💥 your mind.

I’ll spare you the boring stats about time management, but here’s one of my favorite quotes about time.

The paradox of life is the existence of time. We have time, and yet we don’t have time.

1. Get yourself a FREE Personal Assistant👩‍💻 Link to heading

First and foremost: Use a DIGITAL CALENDAR. I can’t stress this enough, you have to start organizing your tasks on a journal basis in a sophisticated calendar application.

Because they can sync across devices, so even if your PC is not active (or not charged, because you play a lot of games🕹, pff), you won’t miss the event.

Hands down, Google calendar📆. It has sooo many features you can look into to get n number of customizations. From managing meetings on Microsoft Teams, to not forgetting anniversaries, it’s all sorted with the google calendar. Even if you use an iOS device, google calendar is available in AppStore too.

I don’t think I liked the Google Calendar… Any other alternatives?

I understand that everybody has their own preferences, which keeping in mind, brings me to some alternatives:

2. Hire a DND Guardian for FREE💂‍♂️ Link to heading

Na na! Not promoting any app here. It is just a simple feature in almost every device out there. The DND mode.

“Your time is limited so don’t waste it on living someone else’s life”

Stop scrolling through social media, stop letting your friends disturb you while you work, and stop any interaction that distracts you. It’s your, TIME. OWN IT.

3. Is multi-tasking a thing?👨‍🏭 Link to heading

So a lot of people doesn’t know what it ACTUALLY means to multi-task. Multi-Tasking indeed exists, what doesn’t exist is Multi-Focus. You cannot focus on multiple things at once but you CAN very much multi-task in certain activities while performing others.

Here’s how it works:

  • You can cook while watching lectures.
  • You’re tired of solving a particular problem and still couldn’t find a solution to it? Get up from your desk, do some work like laundry, clean your room, water your plants etc. while thinking on the solution to tackle that particular problem. Just came up with an idea? Instead of going back to your desk, jot it down in your phone.
  • You’re in gym, working out or just doing your normal exercise, while checking your mails on iPad, with music in your ears.

See? There are ways of doing your work in parallel mode, which actually saves your time from performing these activities in their own time. It all may sound a bit odd at first, but not only, it helps you save time, but also, refreshes you when you get back to your desk.

And just like that our short breaks just got more productive. And you can even reward yourself with 1 hour of Netflix📺 from all the time you saved, or do some pending tasks or whatever your 💘 desires. As said: it’s YOUR, TIME. OWN IT😉.
